Lowell Snap-On Smile

A Snap-On Smile® is a patented dental appliance manufactured by Den-Mat, a California-based dental materials company. The Snap-On Smile® gives patients a beautiful set of white teeth without the cost or commitment of permanent dental procedures. You wear it over your teeth and take it out when you want.

The appliance is made of a flexible acetyl resin, fits over the teeth and does not impinge on the gums or cover the palate. The appliance is removable and requires no tooth preparation, injections or adhesives.

Customized for each patient

Each Snap-On Smile® is customized for the individual patient. You can wear it all day, every day, removing it at night and for cleaning your teeth. You can even eat while wearing the Snap-On Smile®. However, Dr. Szarek recommends that you begin with smaller, softer foods and work up to eating harder foods while wearing the appliance.

Getting a Snap-On Smile

After an initial consultation, Dr. Szarek will make an upper and lower impression of your teeth. Then, he will work with you to choose the appropriate color and shape. This information will then be sent to the laboratory that will make your Snap-On Smile®. In most cases, the new appliance will be ready within two weeks.
